Race Distance: Half Marathon (21.097 KM)
The battle run team should have 4 participants with a compulsory minimum of 1 woman.
Only one member can be below the age of 25. Structured to benefit the amateur runners.
Battle Run will only be open to Amateur Men (Timing with 1 hr 35 mins and slower) and Amateur Women (Timing with 1 hr and 45 mins and slower).
The team leader has to provide timing certificates of timed races run in the preceding 12 months.
Criteria: The aggregate timing of each group will be calculated to arrive at the Winner, 1 st runner-up, 2 nd runner-up, 3 rd runner-up and 4 th runner-up positions.
A maximum of 1 change per team will be allowed before the last date of registrations i.e. 8 th November, 2024.

All the participants should register individually for the Half Marathon category of Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation Marathon 2024. Then A representative or leader of the running group has to send an email with the Name of the group, names of the 4 runners, Gender, date of Birth, registration number and their timing certificates to [email protected]
The Running groups will receive an official e-mail confirmation from the Battle Run organizing team.

In the event of an individual from a running group achieving his PB on the race day a leeway of 1 minute (1:34:00 Men & 1:44:00 Women) will be allowed while determining the aggregate timing of the group.

Please note that, the runners who are participating in Battle Run Group Race are also eligible for individual Half Marathon age category prize money.
