Entry Rules And Guidelines:

A duly filled application form needs to be submitted with a copy of Govt. issued photo ID proof i.e. either Passport, Driving Licence, Election card or Aadhaar card.

Please review all details mentioned in this Application Form before submitting your registration.

Details of the BIB Collection Centers & Dates will be notified via email at a later date.

Entry Rules And Guidelines:

1. Marathon and Half Marathon applicants must be 18 years or older on the date of the race, i.e. born on or before December 8th, 2006. 10K Run applicants must be 15 years or older on the date of the race, i.e. born on or before 8th December, 2009. 5K Run applicants must be 12 years or older on the date of the race, i.e. born on or before 8th December, 2012. Dhamaal Dhaav applicant must be 10 years or older on the date of the race, i.e. born on or before 8th December, 2014.

2. Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 Run and 5K Run races are compulsorily timed categories.

3. Only one applicant can apply for the Event using a single form. Also, do not send in more than one entry per person; multiple applications will entail all being rejected.

4. Applicants must submit their entries only via the Application Modes given in this form. No individual/group has been authorized to collect entries on behalf of the Event.

5. GROUP ENTRIES will be accepted for all the race categories. i.e. Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run and Dhamaal Dhaav. GROUP ENTRIES of 25 and more participants, will be accepted for all the race categories. i.e. Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run and Dhamaal Dhaav. 6. Before sending in your application, please check the following -

a. Filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with '*' in the application form;

b. Attached a copy of your latest colour passport sized photograph on the form;

c. Attached a copy of your Govt. issued Photo ID proof, i.e. either Passport, Driving license, Election Card or Aadhaar card.

d. Enclosed the requisite application fees (refer to 'Application Fees' chart)

e. Signed the 'waiver' in the application form.

f. Applicant meets the minimum age eligibility criteria for the chosen race category. Underage participants will be pulled off the course by race marshalls.

7. Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above-mentioned mandatories, your application will not be accepted.

8. On entry confirmation, Marathon, Half marathon, 10K and 5K runners will be further classified into age categories for prize money. For more information log on to the event website www.vvmm.in

9. Note: Foreigners residing in India who wish to participate and be eligible for the prize money have to produce valid proof of residence. The prize money will be given in Indian Rupees only.

10. Valid email id is mandatory for all timed race participants.

11. Email confirmations will be sent to all the participants who have given their valid email ID in the application form.

12. Requests for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.

13. Request for change in race category will be entertained up to 30 days prior to the event, on or before 7 th November 2024. Participants need to write in with their request to [email protected]. When there is a cost difference in categories, the participant will have to register first and then write in to claim a refund.

14. Once a T-shirt size is selected any exchange request will not be entertained at all.

15. Please note that Dhamaal Dhaav Participants will not be eligible for a medal or a t-shirt but only refreshments, as it is not a timed race but a fun run. However, participants do have the option of purchasing an event t-shirt online.

16. Confirmed participants will not be given their running bibs on the race day.

17. For a bib collection authorized representative of the participant must carry with him/her -

a. A printed copy of the email confirmation which has the bib number mentioned in it (if using a smartphone, a copy of the confirmation forwarded by the participant).

b. Photocopy of your (the participant) photographic proof of identity, i.e.: your Aadhar card, Driving Licence, Passport or PAN card. (If using a smartphone, a copy of the Aadhar card, Driving Licence, Passport or PAN card forwarded by the participant).

c. Photographic proof of identity of your representative visiting the registration counters on your behalf, i.e.: his/her Aadhar card, passport, Driving Licence, college identity card or PAN card.

18. Outstation participants can collect their running number and timing chip from New Viva College, Virar West (Marathon Office), on 6 t h & 7 th December, 2024 between 11 Am to 6 Pm.

19. Confirmed participant's identity and proof of residence may be verified by a verification agency hired to validate the details provided by you in the form.

20. All Marathon/ Half Marathon/10K Run/5K Run/Dhamaal Dhaav participant's race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants are found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that BIB will be disqualified from the race.

21. This application form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this entry form is at the sole discretion of the Event Organiser, Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.

22. Any age category needs a minimum of 15 participants to be run. If the age category does not receive 15 participants, it will be scrapped and the participants can shift to the nearest age category.

23. Please note that runners who have not registered for the race will be pulled off the course by race marshalls, and their images will be visually screened and put up on social media platforms.

24. Bibs will be scanned at the entrance to the holding area. Participants with duplicate bibs will not be allowed into the holding area.
